We are looking to recruit a Trainee CCTV / Sonar Surveyor who will receive full training and, ultimately, the opportunity to qualify to OS19X standard. The successful candidate will be trained in the use of WinCan CCTV Software, VS200 Sonar Profiling Software, and the operation of specialist MSI CCTV / Sonar Survey Equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out MSI CCTV and Sonar Boat Surveys for clients including Heathrow Airport Ltd, the Environment Agency, Water Companies and other organisations throughout the UK.
- Read maps, plans and site drawings and accurately transfer information into the WinCan and VS200 software systems (full training provided).
- Assist in coordinating and deploying field resources, equipment, permits and associated paperwork.
- Liaise with management, team members and client representatives on site.
- Support the maintenance and repair of specialist CCTV/Sonar equipment, plant and associated software (training provided).
- Assist with site visits to gather information and provide practical solutions for estimates, quotations and future projects.
- Support the implementation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Assist with the administration and reporting of survey data (training provided).
- Ensure clear work instructions are communicated to field teams.
- Provide operational support during site works to cover absences or emergency situations when required.
- Travel to project locations throughout the South of the UK, with occasional work in the Midlands and the North of England.
Skills
- Excellent organisational skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different working methods.
- Good IT skills and confidence using desktop computer systems.
Knowledge & Training
- Full training will be provided.
- Previous experience in CCTV sewer surveys or the drainage industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
Qualifications
- Good awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
- Current full UK driving licence.
- Ability to obtain a Heathrow Airside Pass.
- Previous industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
- OS19X qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
